Japanese weddings are more expensive than the wedding of other part of the world. Even these days Japanese are choosing less expensive wedding. Around one per cent Japanese is Christian and they follow western world tradition of wedding. A Shinto wedding is much popular in Japan. Actually it is a ritual that is performed in a Shrine. The most important events are performed in the Shrine and only family members can attend the wedding.

A white silk kimono is bride’s wedding attire. It is much costly around twenty five thousand dollars. A haori and a hakama are included in groom wear. A haori is wear at the top while groom wears a hakama at the bottom in black. The bride wears a wig during wedding ceremony. A wig is an important part of the kimono wedding dress. Wig is bouffant that is decorated with gold combs, flowers and pearls. Thus Japanese weddings are celebrated with pomp and show.
