Mandap is a four pole covering at the center of the stage which is decorated in various styles. The sacred fire at the mandap symbolizes not only enlightenment of mind, knowledge and happiness, but also a clean and pure witness to the ceremony that is in progress.

Mandaps of Indian wedding are decorated by many beautiful colored flowers .The red and silver colors are mostly use to decorate the wedding mandap. Traditionally these colors are symbol of love and prosperity. After modernization the concept is going to change because peoples are now attracted towards western arrangements they prefer color like modern colors like peach, sea green, blue, mauve etc for wedding mandap decoration.

Mandap decoration is really on of the most important part of a prosperous wedding ceremony. The mandap decorations could include beautiful flowers, both fresh and artificial ones. The decoration could also include wall hangings and decorative artifacts. To give a beautiful and fascinating look to your wedding ceremony the sparkling effect of light is used for this purposes, lanterns and candles are used.
