Indian wedding culture is very rich and wedding is celebrated as a sacrament in Indian culture. According to Indian culture, wedding is permission that allows couple to love and romance with each other as well as starts a happy along with. There are lots of rituals performed during Indian wedding that had started ancient time and are an important activity of wedding still now. The religious base of Hind wedding is happiness, growth and harmony.
In ancient time Mangni ceremony was held before months from wedding day and at present it is called engagement ceremony. In the Mangni ceremony jewelry and cloths are gifted by family to prospective bride and groom. The wedding ceremony is one of the oldest cultural ceremonies in India. The wedding rituals were set more than fifty centuries earlier in the ancient Hindu scriptures. The guests have also importance in Indian wedding since most of the wedding rituals are performed by uncle and aunty of bride and groom.
