World’s tallest man’s marriage

Marriage seems to be on cards for the tallest living man on earth listed by Guinness World Records. Bao Xishun, 56, a 2.36-metre (seven feet, nine inches) stands next to his bride, Xia Shujuan, 29, a mere 1.68 metres (five feet, five inches), posing to be featured at their apartment in Chifeng, north China’s Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region on June 11, 2007. The couple got married in March but plans to will hold a wedding ceremony in July.

A GROOM could miss his marriage after he is being judgment for two months in jail while on his stag gathering in Slovakia.

Stephen Mallone, of Tenbury Wells, stays on the Slovakian capital Bratislava with his friends for a weekend of partying. These partying turned into a horrendous when the 25 year old groom was arrested in the claim of being disorderly and drunk.

Mr. Mallone was swimming naked in a fountain. The Foreign Office inveterate the charge of public irritation but were powerless to establish the exact behavior which led to his arrest.

He now faces two months in charge of following actions at Bratislava District Court.

Mr. Mallone, of Berrington Road, is due to marry former Tenbury carnival queen Kerry Stokes on June 15, Friday.

Pasquale Lamanno, spokesman for the British Foreign Office, said: “Mr. Mallone was arrested on Saturday, May 26, following allegations of being drunk and disorderly and has been sentenced to two months in prison in Slovakia. An appeal has been lodged. However, we do not know how long that could take.”

Mr. Lamanno said a British Consulate representative in Bratislava had meet with Mr. Mallone to suggest for support and advice, although there was small for the Foreign Office can act to free him.

Mr. Lamanno said. “We cannot interfere with another country’s legal proceedings,” “We can only offer more of a welfare service, providing advice and support for Mr. Mallone and his family.”

Miss Stokes, who workings at Tenbury Pharmacy, said she had been warn not to talk to the media because it could jeopardise her fiancé’s casing. She was then grasping her hen party at Butlin’s this weekend.

A neighbour of the couple, said: “It is a very sad thing to happen to anybody. I hope he will come out all right and I wish them the best.”

         Firefighter’s residence catches fire

Garrett Foster had no time for cold feet just before his nuptials last weekend.

Garrett Foster the Toutle area volunteer firefighter was on his way to the rehearsal dinner. Friday night, when his beep pager indicates that fire was in progress to his Toutle neighborhood.

After some time, he got other details from the correspondent that fire made his spine tingle “white, two story house.”

Foster said Monday “That’s the worst thing I ever heard,” when he was speaking from a mobile phone while driving back from his honeymoon. “This is a firefighter’s most horrible fear to hear their address.

All the things of wedding like tuxedos, marriage license, wedding rings, wedding presents, Maribeth Foster’s dress and other items for Saturday’s wedding ceremonial were in the house.

The fire started from the deck and extends to the balcony. Chase and Dakota Branhorst Two children, marked by the fire, and Ron Smith neighbor was helped to save the house, Maribeth Foster wife of firefighter said.
