South Korean transsexual Singer Harisu ties Knot
Is it sex-transformation that made her dream come true or is it destiny? The duo knows it better.
The 32-year-old male-to-female singer, South Korean transsexual entertainer—Harisu has finally married her 27-year-old rapper boyfriend Micky Chung. The ceremony happened on 19 May received the blessings and wishes from country’s renowned celebrities present there.
Her change of sex helped the country in changing the family registry laws. Change of sex seems to be the biggest gift of the life given to her as this made her a fit candidate to consummate her married life with Chung.

To much-wonder, the god-figure of the surgeon who operated Harisu for the sex change in 1995 was the ceremonial head of the nuptials. The duo plans to spend their honeymoon in Koh Samui, Thailand and wish to adopt two boys and two girls.
“I will become a wife who cooks well and is sweet, sexy and like a friend,” Harisu said.

A small background about her gender-change:
Transsexualism spread like a virus in South Korea when Harisu’s permission for change of gender in the family registry was approved by the lower court in 2002
In June 2006, South Korea’s Supreme Court ruled transsexuals who were involved in this activity of sex-transformation.
Now you must be wondering why the change of gender has to be mentioned in the family registry. True, this registry won’t act as a Bible for the Gen X but will decide the career move for the incumbents.
This registry along with the personal identification numbers allied with it are the target areas that help a South Korean in getting a job, claiming medical insurance, and attaining a mobile phone service.
So what if it has worked differently for Harisu in swerving her way, making her blessed with her boyfriend as her better-half?
